15 Design Blogs Every Designer Should Be Following

In recent years, the blogging culture has exploded. Once considered a hobby, many people now make a career out of it and several companies are hosting blogs on their website as part of their marketing strategy. With so many blogs out there now, you can be sure there’s one for you.
In fact, there are several blogs out there for you. To save you searching through them all, we’ve found 15 really good ones for you to take a look at.

1. Creative Bloq

This blog is keen to get designers to share their knowledge and their work in order to create a “community intent on evolving the art”. The blog is looking for people to join their writing team so you too can add to their collection of inspiration, tutorials and downloadable resource.

13. Envato Tuts+

Like 99 Designs, Envato is an online design market, connecting designers with employers. The Envato Tuts+ portion of the website is dedicated to several tutorials on every aspect of life as a freelance designer, from new design skills to running a small business.

Beginning life as a print magazine, the HOW franchise has now grown to include this blog, books, a live event, and an online ‘university’. It’s also responsible for a few international competitions so, once you’ve learnt all you can from their blog and other materials, you can try your hand at them too.
