Coming from a print background I have experience in a wide variety of areas. From supporting the print side of the business, including estimating, production scheduling and campaign management to being responsible for all key clients and the sales team, I have experience in managing a print sales cycle from a prospect right through to ongoing management of a key account.
Now, as Head of Route 1 Print, I'm responsible for leading both sales and marketing for Route 1 Print, with the goal of supporting all the teams across Route 1 Print to help both the business and the individuals within it, achieve their full potential!

I joined the Route 1 Print team as Head of Customer Experience back in 2019! In my role, I'm in charge of managing the people who have touchpoints with our customers. This includes our Customer Service Manager, Studio Manager, Account Management Team, Direct Team, and Technical Team.
For me, it's about knowing exactly what experience our clients need when interacting with our brand. From their experience on our website to the experience they receive when using their chosen channel to contact us, I like to keep a close eye on how customers interact with us.
Becoming part of the Route 1 Print team back in 2018, I started out as an Account Executive before building my skills and knowledge into becoming a Team Leader, more recently becoming Customer Service Manager!
I am responsible for supporting our Team Leaders and Customer Service Executives to make sure we're providing the best and most efficient customer service for our clients. This includes monitoring the service we provide and making changes on where we need to improve.
With many years of working at Route 1 Print behind me, I've gotten to know a lot about our clients and their needs! I started at Route 1 Print as a Trainee Account Executive before working my way through the ranks to Account Manager.
My job is to look after my client's accounts, providing them with the support they need to help grow their business. It's also my job to ensure that their experience is as smooth as possible to make sure our clients see us as their number one online trade printer.
I joined Route 1 Print as a Business Development Executive in Web to Print, now, I've moved into Bespoke Quote Requests as our Technical Team Leader! When you request a bespoke quote on a job, it's me and my team who take care of it.
Monitoring VA, maintaining a 1-hour SLA across quotes, and providing a high level of accuracy when sending out quote requests are just some of the areas, I'm responsible for. It's also my job to manage Route 1 Direct clients, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time.
With over 10 years of experience in Graphic Design for print and a Master's Degree in Digital Media Production, I joined Route 1 Print as a Junior Artworker in 2018 before working my way up to Studio Team Leader!
In Studio I am responsible for managing queues and making sure we have the right amount of people in each area. Giving feedback and providing coaching to the team regarding emails, calls and NCRs. Making sure client artwork is set up correctly within our guides and tolerances for production and finding solutions for any gaps within our processors to prevent issues, to ensure a smooth journey for the customers.
I started as a Client Services Executive in 2018 before moving over to our Studio as a Junior Artworker in 2022. Now, as Studio Team Leader I understand exactly what our clients want and need from our Studio team and I help our team to deliver that.
My responsibilities include supporting the team with our daily workload, offering advice on any jobs they may need help with. Speaking with clients via email or on the phone to support them with any artwork queries they may have and having regular coaching sessions with the team to help expand their knowledge and skills. I love finding new ways to make our customer's print journey as smooth as possible with us.

As Product Development Manager I'm in charge of our Pricing Team. We manage and control the prices on the Route 1 Print website, keeping up to date with market activity to ensure our customers receive the most accurate pricing.
I'm responsible for finding new product opportunities as well as making sure the products we do offer, are performing well. I also head up our internal cost system, which accurately works out how much each and every job costs us to produce to ensure we can offer our customers the best price.
I'm Lee and I've worked at Route 1 Print since 2015, starting in the Studio department for the first 3 years of my career before moving to the Web Department more recently.
I work with our stakeholders to outline a project's requirements. With these requirements, I work with our Development Team to scope out a technical solution. I then use my design experience to mock up wireframes to visualise the user experience of any new features. Once a solution is signed off, I manage the development of the project through to release on our website. I then monitor, review, and support the project through its lifecycle.

With 35 years of print knowledge under my belt, I joined Route 1 Print as the Efficiencies Manager. I then progressed to Production Manager, before taking the position as Head of Operations.
I'm responsible for our warehouse's day-to-day operations, which involves overseeing a range of streams including Litho and Digital Print, Large Format, and Inkjet, as well as all Finishing Processes, and our Despatch, Warehousing, and our Support Services.
I started in the Production Control Team before I went on to take ownership of the Quality Management System, including maintaining our ISO 14001 and Forest Stewardship Council Chain of Custody certification.
Now, as Head of Compliance, me and my team are responsible for ensuring that the wider business operates to best practices in the fields of Quality Management, Environmental and Sustainability Management, Health and Safety, Data Protection, and Medical Device regulations.
