- We are open and are proud to say that we have been identified as part of a critical supply chain to both the NHS and other critical services. So while we support these amazing organisations that are working for our country, we will also be here for you.

- We still have zero cases of COVID-19 across our team and we are adhering to all government guidance on social distancing to protect the welfare of our staff.

  • We have moved 100% of our office team to remote working.
  • We have put markings on our factory floor to help our team adhere to social distancing policies and ensuring they have a safe workspace.
  • We have limited the number of production staff on the floor at any one time and have altered shift patterns to reduce contact at change-over times.
  • We have increased the number of sanitising equipment available throughout the factory with instructions on how to use it effectively.
  • A stringent cleaning regime is in operation over key touchpoints like truck handles, door handles, hand rails etc.
  • We have increased automation on transporting products around our factory so as to reduce manual handling.
  • Everyone who enters the building now has their temperature checked.
  • All vulnerable team members are self-isolating as per government guidelines.

- Bundling – Ever wished you could receive your print in pre-bundled stacks? Now you can! Have your 5,000 flyer order split into bundles of 200, or your 1,500 booklet order split into bundles of 150. Just speak to your account manager when you make an order and we’ll get it sorted.

- Bespoke Packing and Collation – We can now facilitate bespoke packages sent to multiple addresses. If your customer needs their three different offices to each receive 1,000 folded leaflets and 10 posters, we can make that happen. Give us a call today and ask for a quote.

- Variable Data – We can help you create a batch of repeated designs with text variations for each item. For example, create Save the Date cards using our invitations range and a data file from your client with the names of all their wedding guests. - Direct Mail – Does your client need to send a message out to all their customers? We can use variable data to put unique addresses on their letters and we’ll arrange envelopes as well as sending them out using Royal Mail. Get in touch to learn more about how we can facilitate this.

- Bespoke Quantities – for any run-lengths not listed on our website already, give us a call and ask for a quote.

- Custom Sizes – let us know if you need a size that we don’t currently offer and we’ll quote it for you.

- We have plenty of stock and operators on site that can look after your orders at every stage.

- Our equipment is still producing print and our team are all healthy - we still have zero confirmed cases of novel coronavirus.

- We have stepped up our cleaning regime with additional deep cleaning stations across the business.

- We are now checking the temperature of all team members as they enter the building.

- We have been carrying out multiple remote working trials over the past week. These trials will continue as required this week so that we are fully prepared for the eventuality that our office team need to work from home.

Here at Route 1 Print we’re committed to providing you with the best service consistently through the thick and thin.

In response to the current COVID-19 situation in the UK, Route 1 Print has already taken a number of precautionary measures to ensure we can continue to support you and your business as well as keeping our team safe.

We are following all guidance and advice issued by HM Government and Public Health England.

It's Business As Usual

- We have reviewed our entire supply chain. We have full confidence in our supply of all materials to meet demand and currently stock over 8 weeks’ worth of consumables.

- We have fully prepared our account management teams to start working remotely (if required) so we can continue to operate a full service whilst preventing any potential spread of the virus through our factory.

- We are committed to doing everything in our power to ensure we continue to support you and your business.

The Team

- We have assigned a specialist task-force with representatives from each department. They are meeting daily and monitoring the situation carefully.

- We have introduced a clear travel policy for our team, we are aware of all travel arrangements the team have.

- We have cancelled our business travel plans and attendance to all events.

Hygiene

- We have placed hand sanitiser and disinfection wipes at each work station.

- We have upgraded all shared work-spaces and facilities with additional hygiene products.

- We are encouraging our team to follow basic hygiene protocols as recommended by the World Health Organisation.

 

So far, we have had zero suspected cases of COVID-19 and our task-force is monitoring the situation very closely. We will update you with any more information as we have it.
